With easy to learn instructions and step by step pictures we show you how to pull of that ” oh I just threw this on but it looks awesome” – look or a more carefully draped and elegantly twisted way or even some more advanced ventures like turning your scarf into a clothing item. The scarf will lose its creases over time by wearing it naturally, but you can speed up the process by placing the scarf in luke warm water and then hanging it straight to dry.

Once dry, please iron the scarf on the back/ unprinted side on a silk fabric setting.

This should definitely reduce or remove the creases.

Yes, they are. However, it is advised to only wash your scarf gently by hand or dry clean. Also, please dry them naturally and don’t tumble dry. The scarf will also stay in better shape if you care for it by storing it in a drawer or cupboard and fold it as little as possible.

You can iron your scarf on a low silk fabric setting.

All our scarves consist of 100% silk. It is a highly durable fabric with an amazing feel on your skin and a light shimmer that brings out colours beautifully. It is a light and cool fabric which does not weigh on you, even with long wearing times, so you will feel luxurious in it all day.

Silk is a beautiful fabric and has immense advantages. It consists of a natural protein structure, and is therefore the most hypoallergenic of all fabrics, which means is the best choice of material for people who suffer from asthma or allergies, or those who have sensitive skin prone to irritation. Silk is an all year round fabric: While it keeps you warm and cozy in winter it also cools you down when in warmer climate. Silk fabric can therefore beat other fabric in both summer and winter. Silk warms you without being bulky, which is great for scarves as you add it on top of your outfit and don’t want to look too heavy. It can also absorb perspiration and let’s your skin breathe. Even though some people think it is a delicate fabric, silk is relatively robust: Its smooth surface resists dirt and odors well and while it does wrinkle, it is easy to iron out, washes well and dries quickly. The beautiful way silk falls, especially when cut on the bias (on the diagonal) just can’t be beaten.

There are 2 types of fabric we use, silk twill and silk chiffon.

Silk twill is a smooth and elegant fabric that is not too slippery (like satin) and with a visible weave but enough softness to make you feel luxurious and elegant when wearing it. It makes a scarf work as a year round item as it’s not too hot in summer but substantial enough to be worn on colder days. This fabric makes colours shimmer and shine and their rich depth is amazing when seen in the light.

Silk chiffon is a light, translucent and smooth fabric that is not too slippery (like satin). It weighs very little, which makes it an amazing summer and spring scarf, and will feel on your skin like a gentle breeze.This fabric makes lets the layers shine through due to its translucency so you can enjoy a multi-layered look. chiffon is very thin and can be draped into a very compact shape if desired, so it will never be too heavy on you.

All of the products are digitally printed with the latest technology in digital printing. The white fabric goes through a large scale fabric printer on a long roll which then gets cut and sewn by hand afterwards. It is a highly precise and clean method that insures that each scarf gets printed exactly the same and avoids alignment problems as in screen printing.

We print and sew our pieces in Hangzhou, China and for good reason: Hangzhou has long been called the Capital of Silk. In the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the city had many silk workshops, and in recent years, along with the rapid economic development of the city, the China Silk Town was established here, a place where one can buy the best quality silk that is exported all over the world.

The company we have partnered with has over 10 years experience in printing on textiles and sources very high quality silk that feels and looks amazing. They use the most current technologies and equipment to print our scarves through ink jet printing on large rolls. After printing, the fabric gets cut and then hand hemmed. Our partner company works ethically, reliably and to a high standard. They are highly specialized in this field and have acquired the best industry experience possible.

We try to ensure the best possible delivery method for your order.

Your scarf will arrive in an elegant white box that is made out of 3 mm cardboard and is very durable. Inside your scarf will be wrapped in tissue paper as an extra layer of protection. The box will be bubble wrapped and sent in a plastic envelope.

This is a safe way to transport your scarf, however, nothing is 100% foolproof, so should your item arrive damaged, please contact DoN.

Unfortunately we can’t take responsibility if your item is damaged by the post, but we will try and claim the insurance on the item and send you another parcel.

Also, if you are worried about delivery security, please order through the (international) courier option, it is tracked, insured, and usually very reliable.

Yes, you could opt for faster shipping when ordering, which takes around 3-6 days around the world. We will also try to package and ship your scarf as soon as possible with this shipping option.

This option also lets you track your parcel with a number we will provide you with upon ordering, so you always know where it is at and can estimate its arrival

National delivery:

Your national (AUS) parcel is tracked and should not take more than 4 days. If you are missing your parcel, contact Daughters of Neverland and we will check with the courier company to see the status of your delivery. We can also give you the tracking number. If a parcel gets lost, we will send you another one.

International delivery:

Normal overseas delivery is between 5 -14 business days. However, in some countries this delivery time can be delayed by customs. They might check the parcel and send you a letter to for pick up, which can take additional time. This delay can’t be influenced on our end and should be conisered ON TOP of our delivery estimates. There have been instances where customs processes have added 2 to 3 weeks to a delivery.

If you are missing a delivery, if possible, contact your customs office to see if there is something waiting for you. If not, you can get in touch with us.

If there is no delivery after 4 weeks, please contact Daughters of Neverland, we can get in touch with the delivery service to retrieve your parcel. If this is not possible, we will resend your parcel or give you store credit in the value of your purchase.

International express delivery:

Your express international delivery is tracked and has a delivery time of 3 -6 days. If you are missing your parcel, contact Daughters of Neverland and we will check with the courier company to see the status of your delivery. We can also give you the tracking number so you can monitor progress. If a parcel got lost, we will send you another one immediately.

This depends on the regulations in the country you live in. Some countries have trade agreements which make shipping and receiving items from overseas very easy and free. However, you might incur some charges in countries which don’t. Usually, the general cost is an amount between 8 – 16% of the value of your parcel, however for an exact amount, please find out from your national customs office.

Please note that we can take no responsibility for charges or shipping delays incurred at your (the receiver’s) end as this can vary depending on the rules of customs in each country.
